 Dear Neighbors,
I wanted to send you all a reminder to join our SD 59 team on Thursday, November 20, for a State of Education Town Hall. We'll have a panel including Superintendent Dr. Lisa Sayles-Adams, Sharon El-Amin Minneapolis District 2 Board Member, and Minnesota Education Commissioner Willie Jett to discuss the current state of education in Minnesota, highlight local school achievements and opportunities for growth, and explore ways to promote equity, access, and student success in our community.

Food will be served 5:30pm - 6:15pm
Program begins at 6:15pm and concludes at 8:00pm

 As part of our ongoing efforts to support the community, we're putting together a donation to keep our local food shelves stocked with essentials. If you're planning on attending the town hall and would like to contribute, we are collecting non-perishable food items.
