We haven't got much time. Call ICE now.
National Domestic Workers Alliance and Families Belong Together

John,

This is URGENT: we’re just days away from the deadline given to ICE by a federal judge to release the children in their family jails. Your voice matters now more than ever.

So far, ICE has released no official plans detailing how they plan to comply with the judge’s order. Worse: there are troubling indications they have no intention of releasing the parents, even as the number of COVID cases in family jails climbs higher and higher.

It’s time for us to act.

Can you take a minute to make a quick and simple call to Acting ICE Director Thomas Homan and demand he #FreeTheFamilies together? Click here to get connected automatically and to see a suggested script.

As you probably know by now, COVID-19 has gotten so bad in ICE family jails that a federal judge has ordered the release of all children held inside of them by this Friday. But the judge only has jurisdiction over the children, not their parents.

Over a hundred thousand people have already signed the petition demanding ICE release the families together. We can’t allow ICE to pretend they can’t hear us. It’s up to every single one of us to stop another family separation disaster from unfolding. And the way we do that is by continuing to build pressure.

There’s not a moment to spare. Call Acting ICE Director Thomas Homan now and tell him to release the children with their families.

We saw in 2018 the horrors inflicted on parents and children alike by family separation. We saw how ICE failed to reunite families or even keep track of which children had been separated. We refuse to allow that to happen again.

Let’s do this,

Cheska Perez
