Dear John,

This election, Coloradans showed their support for our vision of a more inclusive state by electing 7 of our endorsed city council candidates. This victory was powered by the incredible dedication of our canvass team, who knocked on over 4,961 doors.

Our wins were historic. In places like Aurora, we successfully flipped key seats, proving that a message of inclusion and community wins over the politics of division. These victories represent a powerful defeat of the hateful, anti-immigrant rhetoric that seeks to divide our communities, sending a clear message that Colorado values dignity and respect for all.

We will continue to build on these successes and advance campaigns and policies, including healthcare access and workers' rights, that bring tangible change to working class Coloradans. We know that accessible healthcare for all means a healthier economy and society and that we’re all better off when all workers have access to basic labor protections, fair wages, and safe working conditions.  

As we move forward, our focus remains on ensuring that every Coloradan, regardless of their immigration status, is afforded dignity, security, and equal access to opportunity in our state.
