In just 500 days Labour have allowed small boat crossings to reach record highs, with over 60,000 crossings on their watch.

Their small boats deal with France has collapsed, as migrants deported to France are coming back within weeks of removal.

And the current Home Secretary is even on the record as having supported amnesty for EVERY illegal immigrant in Britain.

But now, in phase 5 or 6 of this broken government, they want you to believe they will now take illegal immigration seriously.

No-one’s buying it.

Just a few hours ago the Home Secretary confirmed to me that she wants Britain to stay in the ECHR. Which would allow foreign courts to tie our hands on border security.

If Labour won't leave the ECHR, then very little of what they've announced in the last 72 hours will be achievable. Successive governments have learned that the hard way.
