Earlier this month, Democrats proved that affordability is the number one issue voters are concerned with.

From New Jersey to Virginia, voters sent a clear message that they’re sick and tired of politicians who posture and divide while everyday costs keep climbing. They want leaders who will make life affordable again.

I get it. We’re in an affordability crisis. That’s exactly why I co-founded the Lowering Costs Caucus.

By nearly every measure, life for working families is becoming less affordable. Rent, groceries, utilities, and housing costs are all rising. Meanwhile, Donald Trump’s reckless tariffs and Republican tax giveaways to billionaires are squeezing household budgets even tighter.

Our mission in the Lowering Costs Caucus is to:

→ Bring down costs for families – not protect special interests.

→ Expose policies that make life more expensive.

→ Deliver real, measurable relief for working people.

Republicans are doubling down. Trump is raising taxes on the middle class and his extremist allies in Congress are pushing a budget that raises costs. They’ll keep doing it unless we stop them.
