COP 30 is underway in Belém, Brazil.

Critical talks at the UN climate summit began this week with calls to strengthen the COP process against petrostate obstruction and formalize a timeline for phasing out fossil fuels at the top of the agenda.

The US government might be sitting this one out, but former US Vice President Al Gore was there on the ground to share his iconic slideshow and tell it like it is.

Cataloguing just the latest list of climate disasters wreaking havoc worldwide, Gore declared that it’s “literally insane that we are allowing this to continue” and asking, "How long are we going to stand by and keep turning the thermostat up so that these sort of events get even worse?”
