John, I’m about to walk into my Monday finance meeting with Rob, and I’m dealing with a classic good news/bad news scenario.

The good news is that we had a pretty strong fundraising weekend. We brought in new donors, and put a big dent in our November fundraising goal. Not too shabby.

The bad news is that despite the push, we came up shy of our Mid-Month goal Saturday night. We’re not in panic mode, but with the holidays just around the corner, Rob will be bummed.

But alas, more good news! If 320 supporters each chip in $10 or $15, we can make up the difference and start Rob’s week with even more good news.

So what do you say, John? Can I count on you to be one of the supporters we need to chip in $10 or $15 this morning to fill the gap and put us back on track?
