On Tuesday, November 19 at 10AM, the Fulton County Board of Commissioners will hold a meeting where community members will have the opportunity to speak in support of continued funding for PAD (Policing Alternatives & Diversion Initiative), which will be voted on by the Board on Dec. 3.

PAD provides compassionate, community-based alternatives to arrest by connecting people experiencing homelessness, substance use, or mental health challenges to care and support instead of jail. PAD is asking community members to join the meeting, show support, and help demonstrate how much this work means to our community. Even if you don’t plan to speak, your presence in the room helps send a strong message: our community believes in care, not punishment.
