Hi John, it’s Kathy Hochul. Serving as the first mom Governor of New York has been the honor of my life — and I could not be more proud of the work we’ve accomplished. We’ve put money back in New Yorkers’ pockets, passed universal free school meals for our kids, and stood up to the Trump administration’s attacks on our state. We’ve also protected reproductive rights, expanded access to child care and affordable housing, and kept our communities safe. And there’s still more work to do. But all of our progress is on the chopping block because Trump’s number one ally in Congress, Elise Stefanik, announced her campaign to flip New York’s Governorship red. I’m ready for this fight, but I need you by my side.
No one — not Stefanik, not Trump, not any D.C. Republican — will stand between me and the work to deliver for New Yorkers. I’m a mom from Buffalo. Fighting is second nature to me. So believe me when I say – I’m ready to fight like hell to protect New Yorkers and build on the progress we’ve made.
