I’ll make this quick, friend. Here are three numbers that should alarm you:
- 250 million pounds. More than 250 million pounds of Monsanto’s cancer-linked pesticide dumped on American farmland each year.
- $190 million. Monsanto has been ordered to pay more than $190 million in damages in court cases linking glyphosate to cancer.
- 12 days. We have just 12 days to convince the EPA to take action on glyphosate.
And here’s one more: 0. That’s how many times I see your name on our petition telling the EPA glyphosate is NOT safe. If everyone reading this email took action, we’d hit our goal within 24 hours.
We’ve made it easier than ever to take action on the issues that matter to you most. If you’ve saved your information with FastAction, click here to automatically add your name to our petition:

Scientists have been sounding the alarm about glyphosate for years. In 2015, the World Health Organization declared glyphosate a probable carcinogen, and in 2017, California added glyphosate to the state’s Proposition 65 list of chemicals known to cause cancer.
Now more than 13,000 cancer victims and their families are suing Monsanto for glyphosate’s role in causing their cancer. Monsanto has lost every case so far and been ordered to pay more than $190 million in damages.
But somehow glyphosate has only gotten more popular. Glyphosate use has skyrocketed since the mid-1990s, and now more than 250 million pounds are dumped on American farmland each year.
We have the chance to stop Monsanto in its tracks. The EPA still maintains that glyphosate is safe, but it’s asking the public to weigh in. We only have until Sept. 3 to make our voices heard. We need to completely overwhelm the EPA with comments before the deadline if we’re going to make them listen!
ADD YOUR NAME: Tell the EPA that Monsanto’s cancer-linked weedkiller is NOT safe!
Thanks for fighting with us, friend.
