It's official -- we now have a Republican opponent.
But this campaign has never been about Republicans versus Democrats.
From the very beginning, it's been about all of us working together. After all, we all want our community to have good-paying jobs, strong public schools, and affordable health care.
And we all want an end to this pandemic.
The special interest groups determined to preserve the status quo will try to win this election with millions of dollars spent on negative ads that falsely attack me and don't offer solutions to the very real challenges we face right now.
If we win, it will be because we did the work.
It will be because we talked to more voters about the issues that matter. It will be because we've proven what is possible when we connect with one another through love and understanding instead of hate and fear-mongering.
We started this together, and you've stood with me through it all. Now let's finish what we started -- together. If you can, please chip in to support our effort to do the work needed to win in November.
