Patriot,

Across the world, governments and large institutions are moving rapidly toward new forms of digital identification systems — centralized, trackable, and often mandatory for accessing basic services.

What was once an idea only in the movies is now becoming a reality. And many people are asking the same question:

Who will control our data, our privacy, and ultimately, our freedom?

You may remember the now-famous phrase from the World Economic Forum:

“You’ll own nothing and you’ll be happy.”

This struck a nerve for millions of people because it captured a deeper fear:

What happens if we slowly give up control — of our data, our identity, our property — without even realizing it?

Today, digital ID initiatives raise real, pressing concerns:

>>> Will our personal data be centralized in ways we can’t even opt out of?

>>> Who gets to decide how that data is used?

>>> Could access to financial systems, healthcare, or travel be restricted by algorithms instead of human judgment?

>>> And most importantly — who is building safeguards to protect ordinary people?

And with digital IDs on the rise, one flip of a switch could decide who gets access . . . and who gets shut out.

It’s not the future, it’s happening now.

Just a few days ago, Virginia became the latest state to roll out their digital ID . . . all under the pretense of making it easier to get through airport security and to buy a bottle of liquor.

And on Thursday, Apple launched its digital ID program, which is already approved for use by TSA.

But the “convenience” of a digital ID means your individual rights are not protected . . . a digital ID erodes them!

It’s not about “convenience.” It’s about total surveillance.

For many years, C4L Chairman Ron Paul has been fighting against digital IDs and the sweeping up of ALL of YOURPERSONALDATA.

Now, the government is using AI to surveil your data across all databases.

All that’s left to complete the total surveillance state is a mandatory digital ID.

Then, nothing will stop the government from monitoring everything you do. Not just your medical history, but every purchase you make, every click, post, comment, and movement will be tied to your digital record.

When your information is tied to a digital ID – whether it be a national ID, or even worse, a global ID –your freedom stops being a right and becomes a permission.

It’s time for Congress to slam the brakes on a digital ID now!

But we can’t do it without your help.

This is a massive threat that requires a massive response!

If you believe that personal freedom should never become a “luxury,” please sign your “NO DIGITAL ID!” petition now ([link removed]) and then help Campaign for Liberty spread the word about this impending threat with a donation today ([link removed]).

The future is being built right now. If we don’t shape it, someone else will.

Thank you for standing with us at this pivotal moment.

For liberty,

John McCardell
