Friend,
Your FPC Team took two GIANT leaps
toward hopefully ending the treasonous National Firearms Act this week
with our Motions for Summary Judgment.
Our coalition asked Judges in
Brown v. ATF
(FPC’s direct NFA
challenge) and Jensen v.
ATF (FPC-backed lawsuit)
to grant our MSJs and straight up rule against the NFA.
This is hugely significant because
if granted, Summary Judgment would effectively mean the Government
loses without any further action required in the courts.
In other words, these tyrants don’t pass go, they don’t
collect $200, and we don’t have to listen to them whine anymore about
our lawsuit!
We’ll keep you updated on the
status of our Motions for Summary Judgment, and you can expect
breaking news if they are granted.
Meanwhile,
you can also support our larger NFA Lawsuit Blitz by clicking here and
making a contribution!
Let’s all cross our fingers for the
opportunity to finally “put a stock on it” without risking a 3 a.m.
murder raid from the Corrupt ATF!
With all that, here’s a quick
breakdown of all of the legal activity that you may have missed during
this last week in gun rights:
-
-
Granata v. Campbell: Briefing schedule for FPC to file appellate
brief by Dec. 22 set by 1st Circuit.
-
FPC v. Platkin: Amended complaint filed at District Court by FPC.
-

both parties.
-
