John,
Congress needs to hear from us now.
When a handful of Senate Democrats agreed to re-open the federal government with their Republican colleagues, all they got was a promise of a vote on extending ACA subsidies. No promise the extension will pass. No promise it even gets a vote in the House―though House Democratic leadership is trying to push to make that happen.1
Compounding the health care crisis, Republicans cut more than $800 billion from Medicaid in their Big Ugly Bill earlier this year.
Combined, roughly 15 million people are expected to lose access to health care over the next decade, including 4 million who will be forced to drop out of the ACA exchanges due to skyrocketing monthly costs.2
Eighty-six percent of voters―including 82% who voted for Donald Trump―want the Affordable Care Act (ACA) enhanced premium tax credits extended.3 Without these credits, an individual paying an $888 premium in 2025 will see their premium increase to roughly $1,904 in 2026.4
Send a message to Congress right now and tell them to extend the ACA premium tax credits and roll back the draconian Medicaid cuts.

People are struggling, and Congress and the Trump administration are making it worse. As a result of Republicans’ Medicaid cuts, hundreds of rural hospitals will close and 51,000 people will die preventable deaths each year.7,8
Join us in calling on Congress to extend the enhanced ACA premium tax credits and roll back Medicaid cuts before the year ends, so millions of people can still access health care in 2026 and beyond.
Instead of slashing basic needs programs to fund tax breaks for the wealthy, lawmakers should ensure the wealthy pay their fair share and invest in strengthening services that help families afford essentials like food and health care. Your voice matters in this fight for a better future.

John,
The government has reopened, but Congress still hasn’t extended the Affordable Care Act’s enhanced premium tax credits or rolled back the cuts made to Medicaid in the Big Brutal Budget they passed last summer. Without these critical protections, millions of people will lose their access to health care, and many will die needlessly.
Congress must act now to prevent this health care disaster.
Send a direct message to Congress, urging them to extend the enhanced ACA premium tax credits and roll back the Medicaid cuts in the Big Ugly Bill.

When Republicans passed their Big Brutal Budget, they neglected to extend the ACA tax credits and cut more than $1 trillion from human needs programs over 10 years, including more than $800 billion in cuts to Medicaid. Combined, roughly 15 million people are expected to lose health care access.1 It’s worth noting Congress prioritized tax breaks for the wealthy and large businesses, and used these huge cuts to health care and other basic needs programs to pay for giveaways for their rich friends.2
The impact of the expanded premium tax credits cannot be overstated. 19.3 million people received the credits and, on average, saved $705 in 2024.3,4 People in every single state5 and Congressional District6 face steep premium increases unless Congress extends these crucial ACA credits.
Without immediate action, Congress is guaranteeing that millions of people will be forced to go without health insurance.
Send a message to Congress demanding they extend the ACA premium tax credits and roll back cuts to Medicaid now.
We urge you to share how you are being impacted by increased health costs, or share data for your state or Congressional District using the links below, in your emails to Congress. And, thank you for all you do,
