Democrats across our state just won 630 local races – flipping over 130 seats red to blue, including in towns that hadn’t elected a Democrat in decades. This is only the start of what we can do here.

We can give Democrats up to five additional seats in Congress. To do that, we have to undo Republicans’ extreme gerrymandering and restore fair maps. And to do that, we must flip our Republican-controlled state Supreme Court.

In 2023, Republicans on our state Supreme Court redrew the maps so that our 7 Democrats and 7 Republicans in Congress overnight became 10 Republicans and 4 Democrats. Then the legislature did it again – trying to make it 11 Republicans and only 3 Democrats.

They are getting away with it because the North Carolina Supreme court okayed partisan gerrymandering.

Here’s how we fight back. Last year, we defended a crucial Democratic seat on the court by just 734 votes. In 2026, we’ll defend another – and that keeps us on track to take back the majority in 2028, when three Republican seats are finally up.

Winning back that court means ending partisan "erasure" gerrymandering, restoring fair maps, and sending more Democrats to Congress. It’s a national game changer.

This is a long-term plan and we are already knocking doors and organizing across the state – but we need your help.
