Dear Friend,
I never imagined I’d still be writing these words—four years after my son, DEA Special Agent Chad Scott, was taken from me and locked away in a federal prison for crimes he did not commit.
Every day, my heart aches knowing that an innocent man—a man who spent his life protecting Americans from violent drug traffickers—is behind bars while the real criminals walk free.
That’s why I’m asking—from one American to another—to please stand with my family and help bring Chad home.
Your immediate, tax-deductible donation to the National Center for Police Defense (NCPD)
will go toward Chad’s legal defense and the fight for his presidential pardon.
Chad’s story began like so many others who choose to serve.
From the time he was a little boy in Baton Rouge, he dreamed of wearing a badge and making a difference. After college, he joined the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office and quickly made a name for himself as one of the best narcotics agents in Louisiana.
Before long, the DEA recruited him to lead a federal task force, and for more than two decades he took down some of the most dangerous drug rings in the South. Chad risked his life daily to keep others safe.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your compassion, your generosity, and your belief in justice.
Sincerely,
Anita Scott
Mother of DEA Special Agent Chad Scott
