Control of the White House and the U.S. Senate might all come down to Michigan. And it's getting dicey.

My longtime friend, Senator Gary Peters, was just outraised by his far-right challenger again, and Betsy Devos' family has already pumped nearly $1 million into a super PAC that's on the air attacking Gary.

We urgently need to fight back. Can you donate $3 right now to support Gary Peters and my efforts to take back the Senate? We cannot afford to lose Michigan in November.

Just last week, Republicans were telling reporters that they were worried that nearly all of our Democratic challengers had outraised their opponents. But Gary's Trump-aligned opponent is raising millions online from the MAGA-crowd. And DeVos and McConnell are planning to pour unlimited sums of money into the state.

It's a clear signal that Republicans and their ultra-rich backers see Michigan as their number one priority.

In 2016, Donald Trump won by about 10,000 votes, and it's likely to be close again in November.

We cannot win the White House or Senate majority unless we defeat them in Michigan.

The only way Democrats stand a fighting chance in the state is if we have Gary's back. That's why I need to ask.

Gary is a great friend and colleague in the Senate. No one fights harder for American manufacturing and protecting the Affordable Care Act than Gary. But Republicans are going to flood the state with attack ads against him. So we need to do everything we can to make sure Gary Peters has the resources to compete.
