“We’re DOOMED unless you donate RIGHT NOW!!!!”

We’re willing to bet you probably have an email in your inbox that sounds pretty similar to… that. How do we know? Because even as campaign staffers, we’re not immune to the deluge of fundraising emails coming from elected officials.

We see them too — and trust us, we’re just as frustrated with them as you are.

For months, we’ve laid out a goal here at Dave Min HQ: We want this email program to give it to you straight and let you decide whether our campaign is worth your hard-earned money. The last thing we want is to scare you into donating.

But that doesn’t mean we’re going to hide you from the truth. And the truth is, we’re falling nearly $1,000 short of tonight’s fundraising goal.

Listen, we’re not pushing the panic button yet, or claiming that the sky will fall if you don’t donate. But this is something we need to correct before it snowballs out of control. With all that said, can you chip in just a few dollars to make sure Dave has every resource he needs to keep CA-47 out of Donald Trump’s hands?
