Trump isn’t just using xenophobia to hide his pandemic response failure. He’s now embracing it as a way to cover up his election defeat in advance.

The president tweeted that unnamed “FOREIGN COUNTRIES” will interfere in the upcoming election by printing millions of mail-in ballots. Experts, of course, say that that’s simply impossible.

But it’s entirely possible Trump uses this conspiracy theory to restrict mail-in voting rights for millions of Americans.

For many voters, especially the most vulnerable populations, vote-by-mail could be the only safe way to make their voices heard in November. If we don’t stop Trump now, he could steal the election by shutting them out. Will you help us make sure he never gets the chance?
