John -- As a doctor, I've seen this before. I often have to tell patients news they don't want to hear -- and sometimes, a patient will deny that they are sick or that they need surgery. A second or third opinion won't even do the trick. But sometimes a family intervention can help. With President Trump and the White House now openly attacking doctors, including Dr. Anthony Fauci, I fear that this president is in full-blown denial about how he's made the COVID-19 pandemic worse. It's never mattered more for Trump's political family -- leaders in the Republican Party like Dan Sullivan and Mitch McConnell -- to stop this madness before it is too late. America's health is at stake, and we need to make sure Dr. Fauci remains on the job. Sign the petition to tell Dan Sullivan and Mitch McConnell to protect Dr. Anthony Fauci and keep him advising our country for the rest of the pandemic. More than 200,000 Americans are projected to be dead by Election Day. But instead of owning up to his mistakes, President Trump is blaming doctors and attempting to sideline and discredit Dr. Fauci. It's a recipe for disaster. The American people need to have a medical expert they trust leading the response and making recommendations based on facts and evidence, not politics and an election. That's Dr. Fauci. Add your name to the petition, and demand that Dan Sullivan and Mitch McConnell work to protect Dr. Anthony Fauci. If Dan Sullivan and Mitch McConnell don't have the backbone to stand up to Donald Trump and protect doctors like Anthony Fauci, they're not fit to be in charge. Thank you for standing with me.
