Dear NRDC Activist,
NRDC is joining forces with The New Group, a New York-based theater
company, to host [ [link removed] ]FACING THE RISING TIDE — a digital series of readings
and conversations about the climate crisis, environmental racism, and
hope.
And we'd love for you to join us for these special online events the week
of July 20-24. [ [link removed] ]Get more information and register to attend this online
series for free.
These readings by five emerging writers celebrate the ways art can inspire
new ways of thinking about climate change and the fight for environmental
justice. And they'll explore how storytelling can help change perspectives
— and change the world.
Each reading will be followed by a discussion with members of the creative
team and a climate expert, including the Creative Director of NRDC's
climate storytelling initiative Cheryl Slean, who will be participating on
a panel on July 23! [ [link removed] ]Learn more about the weeklong series and register

I hope that
you and your loved ones are staying safe and healthy during this extremely
difficult time.
Please know that we will keep fighting for you, our planet, our public
health, and our climate — no matter what.
Sincerely,
Elizabeth Corr
