After weeks of Democrat obstruction, Republicans reopened the government without giving in to the demands of AOC and the radical left. We stood firm and defeated their attempt to hold the country hostage just to score political points against President Trump.
And what did Democrats achieve?
Nothing—except shutting down the government for 43 days even though they could have voted for a clean continuing resolution from the start. This was obstruction for the sake of obstruction.

Democrats know the America First Agenda is working and that’s why they’re willing to go to any length, even shutting down the government, to stop its success. The stock market is soaring, inflation is falling, and more than $15 trillion in investment has flowed into the United States since President Trump returned to office. The results are clear. But it will take time to fully clean up the disastrous mess Joe Biden and Kamala Harris left behind.
I’m ready to keep fighting. California’s future—and America’s future—is worth it. I’ll continue working every day to lower the cost of living, reduce taxes, and keep our nation safe.
