John — 142,000 people in CT are facing skyrocketing health care costs, and here in eastern CT more than 22,000 people are facing premium increases – all because House Republicans have failed to maintain longstanding Affordable Care Act tax credits.
I recently spoke to a constituent from Enfield who will see their premiums increase from $300 to $2,450 per month! And they’re far from alone — Kristin from Norwich will see an additional $1,050 cost per month, Lee from Mystic will see an increase from $700 to $2,500, and countless folks across eastern Connecticut will see their healthcare costs spike.
