Friend,
We’re all outraged about Donald Trump’s commutation of his buddy Roger Stone’s sentence. By letting Stone – convicted of seven felonies including obstructing an investigation into the Trump campaign’s ties to Russia – off the hook, Trump yet again has abused his presidential power and shown disdain for the rule of law.
Trump believes rules don’t apply to him and his cronies. And Stone made it clear he expected this all along, saying Friday that Trump knew “I was under enormous pressure to turn on him ... but I didn’t” – a clear indication that Stone had knowledge that could be deeply damaging to the president.
I wrote about Stone’s sleaziness, his crimes, and his relationship with Trump in my book, Endgame: Inside the Impeachment of Donald J. Trump. You can read that chapter – titled, “The Man with the Nixon Tattoo” – by clicking this link.
But Stone’s crimes were only one small part of our investigation and eventual impeachment of Donald Trump. The whole story is even more appalling, and the courageous patriots who rose to speak truth to power and testify about Trump’s abuses of power are heroes to whom my book is a tribute.

America is in an endgame right now: It will either choose to continue with Trumpism on the slide toward autocracy, or it will choose to reject Trumpism and renew its democracy. What will your move be?
Let's move forward, together.
