I just got back from an organizing swing through New Hampshire to mobilize people to save democracy from the corruption and lawlessness of Donald Trump.

While there, I spoke candidly about Senate Democrats’ responsibility to do better.

Our Republican colleagues are no longer partners because they are on board for a campaign of dizzying destruction of the rule of law and of our democracy.

Our job right now is to fight. Our job right now is to draw moral lines in the sand that show the differences between Democrats and Republicans.

This will require electing more fighters to the Senate — including New Hampshire’s own Chris Pappas. He’s running for their open U.S. Senate seat next fall against a popular former Republican governor.

Chris was clear in the aftermath that this was a bad deal, and he would not have supported it. He’s someone I want fighting in the Senate alongside me.

So I’m humbly asking you to split a contribution between Chris Pappas' campaign and my mobilization fund today. This is a must-win race. Losing New Hampshire and handing this seat to Republicans would only further embolden Trump’s corruption and lawlessness.

Saving democracy requires all of us. Yes, it is time for the next generation of leaders, like Chris Pappas, who are willing to fight and rebuild our party.

But more importantly, we need people like you mobilizing to build effective opposition to Trump and his billionaire cronies.
