There's a moment in every David vs. Goliath fight when the giant realizes they're going to lose.

For Big Oil, that moment came on Election Night in Washington State, John.

State Senators Victoria Hunt and Deb Krishnadasan won their highly competitive races despite a super PAC bankrolled by Chevron, the Koch family, and other big business interests dumping more than $500,000 to unseat our endorsed climate champions.

This is what victory looks like when people like you rise up and refuse to let corporate polluters buy our elections. Before I share more about why this matters, can I count on you to chip in to my Climate PAC before the end of today so we can make more wins like these possible? [[link removed]]

🎉 Victoria Hunt faced one of the most competitive races in Washington. Republican leadership and Big Oil saw her district as their best chance at flipping a Senate seat and chipping away at the Democratic majority.

They came at her with everything they had — misinformation, attack ads, and corporate cash. But Victoria stayed focused on what matters: modernizing Washington's Clean Energy Transformation Act, protecting public lands, fighting for clean air, and delivering for her community. Voters saw through the attacks and chose the leader who works for them, not corporate polluters.

🎉 Deb Krishnadasan withstood what she called "one of the most expensive waves of corporate-funded attack ads in history" — funded in part by $1.3 million of independent spending. Even as the attacks piled up, she never wavered from her message: holding polluters accountable, advancing clean energy solutions, and pushing Washington toward 100% clean energy. And voters rewarded that courage.

This is exactly why we endorse leaders like Victoria and Deb around the country. They're not intimidated by corporate money, political bullies, or Big Oil's attack machine. They refuse to back down, and no amount of spending can silence leaders who stand up for what's right.

That’s what’s possible when this movement comes together, when we invest early, and when we prioritize state and local races where climate action can’t wait another second.

Now we need to carry this momentum forward because Big Oil isn't giving up. They'll keep trying to buy seats in the midterms and beyond. Our job is to keep proving that people power beats their money every single time. That’s why I’m humbly asking for your early support today so my team can start preparing for the tough, must-win fights ahead, nationwide. [[link removed]]
