Hey, John, it’s Shannon O’Brien (Chair of the Montana Democratic Party)! I’ll be honest: This is a fundraising email. I’m about to ask you to chip in $15 before our mid-month fundraising deadline at midnight tonight. But first, I’d like to catch you up on what Montana Democrats have been working on for the past few weeks!
 
While Ryan Zinke and Republicans are MIA (after SHUTTING DOWN the government), Montana Democrats are launching a 56-county tour: 

I’ve already spoken to folks in Flathead, Custer, Yellowstone, and Gallatin counties — and one thing is for certain: Montanans are tired of politicians who put party insiders and wealthy donors first. 

They’re ready for leaders who will focus on the real issues — lowering costs, protecting freedoms, and making sure Montana works for the people who live here.

I’m on the ground speaking to Montanans about how we can make that happen. 

Because, John, together we have a chance to work toward a better future for Montana: Good-paying jobs, strong public schools, lower costs, and access to health care.

But, I’ll be honest, winning back Montana isn’t going to be easy – or cheap – work.
