Friend,
At the end of this email, I’m going to humbly ask you to chip in $3 to keep me in Congress fighting for you. But before I do, I want to explain the importance of this moment.
After the longest shutdown in our country’s history ended without any guarantees for affordable healthcare, it’s clear that we have a lot of work to do.
It’s a failure for working families in IL-13 and across the nation that Republican leadership didn’t prioritize ending their manufactured healthcare crisis. Time and again they’ve shown their true colors – from spending millions on demolishing the East Wing of the White House to handing their billionaire donors tax breaks on the backs of the middle class.
I’m fed up, and I know I’m not alone. I decided to run for Congress to champion working families who deserve better, and right now, their lives are being made harder by those in charge.
The good news is that we can hold the MAGA agenda accountable by flipping the House majority next year, and the preparations start now. The hard truth is that after flipping this seat blue in 2022, I’ve been a key target, and Republicans will do anything to keep their grip on power and stop any amount of progress.
That’s why I have to ask ahead of our mid-quarter deadline: Will you chip in $3 to stand with me? Any amount will boost our voter outreach as we prepare for what’s to come in this important race.
