Step inside a USO Center, and you’ll see a tiny slice of home.

Couches, televisions and Wi-Fi greet our deployed troops. When going home isn’t possible, we bring home to them.

“When Thanksgiving rolled around, we were single Marines in the barracks in Okinawa,” says Barry Morris, a Marine veteran and current USO staff member. “We broke bread together right there in the USO. It was just a place where we could relax and have our own little family meal. Although, none of us were related — except, we were all Marines.”
