John —

We’re at the halfway point for our first full fundraising quarter. We’ve
already asked a lot of you since we launched this campaign two months ago
— but I want to explain why your support right now is so important.

At the end of this quarter, we have an FEC deadline. We will have to
report our fundraising numbers publicly again. We’ll have to do it if they
are good, and we’ll have to do it if they are not.

The truth is that all eyes will be on these numbers. Our opponents and the
media are asking if the energy behind our campaign at the beginning was a
fluke or if we’re building a movement that really can take back Texas.

With the holidays approaching, we know things will slow down. So we need
to go into the final half of the quarter in an even stronger position.

We’ve set an ambitious goal before we hit the halfway point of the
quarter: 5,000 donations in 48 hours. This is what it will take to keep us
on track to reach our targets and continue laying the foundation to win
this race.

[ [link removed] ]I’m personally asking you to contribute $5 or whatever
you can spare today. This is the hardest and most expensive race I’ve ever
run. Your support today would mean a lot to me.

If you've stored your info with ActBlue, we'll process your contribution
instantly.

The donation itself is just as important as the amount. Each one sends a
powerful message about our strength and puts us one step closer to taking
back power for the people.

James
