Hi team,
There’s a lot going on in the world. Things can feel chaotic. But what grounds me and keeps me going every day is remembering who I’m fighting for: The working people of Michigan.
These are the people who keep our economy moving – who build, fix, teach, nurse, cook, deliver, and care. The folks who punch in every day, take pride in what they do, and keep our country strong.
Fighting for working Michiganders is why I got into public service in the first place. And it’s why I’m running for Senate now.
I’ve been proud to earn the support of some of Michigan’s most respected unions in this campaign:
✅ Teamsters Local 243
✅ Pipefitters, Steamfitters, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Service Local 636
✅ UNITE HERE Local 24
These endorsements mean the world to me – because they come from people who know the stakes. And I’m proud I’m the only candidate in this race who has multiple endorsements from labor groups.
I’ve talked with Michigan nurses fighting for safer working conditions. I’ve met steamfitters raising families and trying to keep up with the cost of living. I’ve heard from retirees whose pensions no longer cover their rent – people who worked their whole lives and still can’t catch a break.
I carry those conversations with me every day.
They remind me of my dad, who is in his 80s and still working — because it gives him purpose. I think about the folks who do have to keep working just to survive, and I know we can do better by our workers.
Because here’s the truth: There is no strong middle class without strong unions.
That’s not just a slogan. It’s a fact. When union power declines, wages stagnate, benefits disappear, inequality rises, and communities suffer. But when we support unions – when we raise the floor for working people – everyone benefits.
And no state knows that better than Michigan.
We helped build the American labor movement: from the Flint sit-down strike to the Battle of the Overpass. And we can lead again. But only if we stand together – and fight back against the forces trying to silence workers.
Because right now, Donald Trump and his MAGA guys are coming after organized labor. They want to weaken worker protections, strip away bargaining rights, and give billionaires even more tax breaks – and they’re targeting this Senate seat to do it.
But I’m not backing down.
I’m in this race because I believe every Michigan worker deserves a voice – and a senator who’s willing to fight for them. Someone who understands our state, who has walked factory floors and sat in union halls, and who will never forget who they’re in Washington to serve.
That’s the kind of senator I’ll be.
And if you’re with me, if you believe in the power of the American worker, I hope you’ll consider joining our grassroots team. We’re working toward a $175,000 mid-month goal – and every dollar helps us reach more voters and build the kind of people-powered campaign it takes to win a battleground race like this. Will you chip in now to keep Michigan blue?
Thanks for reading this. And thank you for standing with Michigan workers.
With grit and gratitude,
Haley
A personal note from Haley 👋

I’m a lifelong Michigander and the daughter of small-business owners. I’ve spent my career fighting for Michigan’s working families – and now I’m running for the U.S. Senate to keep standing up for the people I love.

But here’s the truth: Senate control could come down to Michigan. And Trump and his megadonors know it. That’s why they’re gearing up to spend tens of millions to defeat me and hand this seat to a MAGA Republican.

I need your help to fight back. This race will be one of the most competitive – and expensive – in the country, and I’m counting on grassroots support to win.

If you’re with me, will you chip in today?
