John,
Given the ongoing rampant corruption of Donald Trump and
his cronies — from William Barr’s feckless “leadership” to Roger
Stone’s commutation — I think it’s never a bad time to shine a
light into the shady dealings happening in the White House.
Trump’s own former National Security Advisor, John
Bolton, is back under the microscope for just that reason, with
an explosive new book exposing the Trump administration's erratic
ways from the inside. And now, some lawmakers are calling for
Bolton to testify before Congress.
Regrettably, it’s too late for his testimony to make any
real impact on impeachment. Bolton’s own lack of character left
him silent while we grappled with the President’s abuse of power,
and only when he could profit off his tenure did he start
spilling the beans about what he knew.
But it's never too late to perfect the record for
history — to create that record and to have that for posterity in
congressional record keeping. Because while the impeachment trial
might be over, we will never turn a blind eye toward Trump’s
continued abuses of the powers entrusted to him by the American
People.
Democrats haven’t yet come to a consensus over whether
Bolton should testify, so that's what I want to hear from you!
What do you think John, should Bolton
testify before Congress?
