International students studying at US universities are at risk of
being deported - and all because they are taking online courses
due to the pandemic. This move by Trump and the Department of
Homeland Security will have huge impacts on colleges and students
here in California.

There are no guarantees that international students on F-1 visas
will be allowed to re-enter the US to continue their education,
which is why they need our protection and advocacy RIGHT NOW.

In 2019, 14% of students enrolled in the University of California
system were from outside of the US. That's over 40,000 students
in California alone whose lives will now be upended.

This policy is unjust, inhumane, and xenophobic. There is no
reason that these students should have to decide between two
evils: leaving the US, thereby abandoning their education,or
putting their health at risk by attending in person classes.

Once again, ICE has no place in our classrooms.

Take action to demand protection for our students, friends, and
colleagues by submitting your input.

It may seem like I've asked you to make your voice heard plenty
of times these past months, but I promise that when you continue
to stand up for what's right, change is made.
