Dear Friend,

During this season of thanks, it's important that we tell you
about the impact our supporters have on the lives of those living with
Alzheimer's disease and their caregivers. And because you have shown
such a strong interest in our work, I also want to tell you about a
way that you can make a difference in the fight. Right now, your first
gift can go THREE TIMES as far during our Power Our Progress 3X
Match!

Advance critical research so we
can learn more about this progressive and fatal disease. Treatments
that have been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration are
giving us reason to hope, and clinical trials and studies like U.S.
POINTER are offering us greater insight into how we can lower our risk
of developing Alzheimer's or another dementia.

Strengthen our advocacy efforts
and work at the federal and state levels to encourage legislation that
will increase research funding and improve the lives of those affected
by Alzheimer's and all other dementia.

There is much to celebrate, but these crucial achievements are
at risk. Federal budget proposals could take away funding for
Alzheimer's research and programs, hurting millions affected by this
disease. We're working hard to protect care, support and research.
Right now, your gift can make three times the impact to help us
continue our momentum.

We'd like to thank Leone McKay for generously pledging to
match all gifts made by November 17 - up to $660,000 - in
honor of her late husband, Col. Bill McKay. Her gift will support
critical research. Your gift can go three times as far toward our
mission to lead the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia
- by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and
early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.
