John -- elections are tough. But I can't think of anyone tougher and more ready for a fight than MJ Hegar.

MJ is running to replace Sen. John Cornyn and give Texans the leadership they deserve in the Senate. She's a former Air Force helicopter pilot who did three tours in Afghanistan. She received a Purple Heart after she completed her mission -- airlifting patients to safety -- even after being shot. Then she fought the government to open combat roles for women in the military -- and she won.

One thing is very clear: MJ doesn't give up.
