The longest government shutdown in history is officially over.

But not everybody's happy about it. Democrats vowed to keep the shutdown going until Republicans agreed to extend Affordable Care Act (ACA) subsidies that would keep costs low for over 20 million Americans.

But that didn't happen. Democrats caved and opened the government on Trump's terms with only a promise to hold a vote on ACA subsidies.
