Hi JOHN,
When you walk into the grocery store lately, it’s hard not to notice: prices are higher, on everything.
Coffee. Fruit. Meat. Essentials that used to feel routine now take more planning, more sacrifice.
Let’s be clear about why this is happening. Trump’s tariffs are still in place — they’ve made food more expensive, supply chains more unstable, and working people are the ones left paying for it.
That’s not how an economy should work.
Families in Rhode Island shouldn’t have to stretch every dollar because of Trump’s tariff temper tantrums.
I’m fighting to lift the burden — to end these tariffs, to lower costs, and to make sure that the economy works for the people who actually keep it running.
If you’re with me, I hope you’ll chip in today. Every bit of support helps us push back against policies that put profits over people.
Thank you for not getting used to a broken system.
— Seth
