Hi John, it’s Hannah.
I know it’s easy to feel discouraged when you turn on the news and see what's happening around the country. But even during this challenging time, I am still optimistic about what we can accomplish together.
And last week’s victories show that we’re headed in the right direction. Voters elected courageous women governors like Abigail Spanberger in Virginia and Mikie Sherrill in New Jersey. We protected absentee voting and enacted red flag protections right here in Maine. Now, it’s our turn.
I’m running for Governor of Maine to make sure the energy from last week’s victories doesn’t fade. My agenda is clear: build the housing we need, and build an economy in which everyone has a fair shot. These are the policies that win elections, lift up families, and build a movement that lasts.
That’s what this campaign is all about, and while we don’t know what headlines tomorrow will bring, one thing is clear: we can’t do this without your support.
Over the next three years, Democratic governors will play a critical role in protecting our rights and values, and I’ll be right there on the frontlines fighting for you.
