John, I need a moment of your time.

We’re halfway through our final fundraising quarter of the year, so I’m going to ask for you to chip in $3 at the end of this message. Before I do, let me explain what we’re up against:

First: I flipped CA-45 by 653 votes last year and handed the GOP one of their biggest defeats in the country. That immediately made me a target of baseless attacks and huge dark money spending.

Then: Four Republican challengers entered my first re-election race. With Prop 50’s passage, our district is adding thousands of new voters who will be seeing my name on a ballot for the first time.

Now: National Republicans admit that CA-45 is one of the only seats they can potentially retake in California. Their MAGA majority depends on it -- and the pressure on our campaign is mounting.
