Thanks to supporters like you, we significantly expanded our Global Partners initiative over the last several years. Started in 2013 with a grant to Conservation Through Public Health (CTPH) in Uganda, we now support 19 organizations in Latin America, South Asia, and sub-Saharan Africa. These NGOs work in their local communities to expand access to family planning options and reproductive health care, to remove barriers to girls’ education, and to conserve local natural resources through an integrated “population, health, environment” (PHE) approach.
Last year, we contributed over $600,000 to Global Partner organizations—a level of support that has proved revolutionary for many of them. The CEO of one of our newer partners, Tareto Africa, shared this feedback with us earlier in the year:

Because of your generosity, more Indigenous vulnerable girls from the Maasai Community […] are not only staying in school but also becoming champions for the environment while learning more about their sexual and reproductive rights.
