[link removed] [[link removed]] After everything that’s happened this week, I’m sure you’re not exactly thrilled about receiving, well… an email like this. But we have a big fundraising deadline coming up tomorrow night, and it really matters. Here’s why:
The amount we’re able to raise before tomorrow’s deadline will tangibly impact the odds of keeping this seat blue. Look, I wish money didn’t have such an outsized impact on our politics and elections — but that’s the system we have to work in right now.

Here are four big reasons why this is such a critical time for our campaign to raise money:
1. Right now, there is no seat in the country more vulnerable than KS-03. For the vast majority of Congressional seats, it’s essentially a foregone conclusion as to which party will win them on Election Day next year. Not here in KS-03 . The outcome of the Kansas GOP’s gerrymandering push is genuinely up in the air — and every dollar we raise moves those odds just a little bit more in our favor.

3. We’re just three seats away from flipping the House. But if we don’t keep up the pressure on the Kansas GOP and end their gerrymander for good in January, National Republicans will be one step closer to expanding their majority on Election Day next year. We can’t let that happen.

5. For all intents and purposes, we’ve already reached the final stage of the election cycle. Kansas Republicans have already launched ads in favor of their gerrymandering push — and we can’t let them go unanswered. Not when the far-right is scrutinizing our campaign’s every move, searching high and low for any signs of weakness.

7. If we don’t hit our goal, it’ll be a big setback… at the worst possible time. When Kansas Republicans officially kick off their legislative session on January 12, I don’t want to look back and start thinking about what ifs. I want this campaign to have every resource and every opportunity possible on that date to mount the strongest push Kansas Republicans have ever seen.
