Stand Up For Clean Air

This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Clean Air Act, and to celebrate, we're introducing the Stand Up For Clean Air initiative. Together, through collective action, we can all help improve air quality and address climate change.

Why it matters:

- The recent COVID‑19 crisis has illuminated the importance of having healthy lungs and bodies. Millions of Americans live in areas where air pollution reaches unhealthy levels, and long-term exposure to air pollution can increase the death rate from COVID‑19.

- We all have a role to play. Addressing climate change today can protect air quality for future generations. It’s never too late to play your part.

- What exactly does climate change do to air quality and how does that affect me? From wildfires and worsened smog to floods, learn about the impact to your community.

- It’s wildfire season for many parts of the country. Learn how to protect your lungs if you are impacted by wildfire smoke.
