Dear Friend,

In this moment of exciting change, Courage California Institute wants to
connect you with elected officials in California who are leading the fight
for racial equity. We're inviting you to attend “Courage in the Moment,
Courage for the Movement,” a virtual town hall featuring [ [link removed] ]State
Controller Betty Yee, [ [link removed] ]Senator Holly Mitchell, [ [link removed] ]Senator Lena Gonzalez,
and [ [link removed] ]Contra Costa District Attorney Diana Becton on Wednesday, July 29,
1-2pm PT.

Join us to hear from these four women of color leaders who consistently
advocate for our communities, champion our issues, and mentor the next
generation of courageous leaders we need in California and the nation. The
panelists will answer pre-submitted questions from our members and
partners about some of our most urgent issues, including a just and
equitable COVID recovery, Black Lives Matter and policing reforms, and the
continued fight against systemic racism. Courage California Institute is
cohosting the event with She the People, Alliance for Boys and Men of
Color, PolicyLink, California League of Conservation Voters, California
Donor Table Fund, Voices for Progress, and Indivisible CA: StateStrong.
