John, in 2018, Ohio voters overwhelmingly approved a constitutional amendment to end partisan gerrymandering and institute a fair, bipartisan redistricting process.

But Ohio Republicans ignored it and passed illegal maps after the 2020 census. Their redistricting plans were so biased that the Ohio Supreme Court rejected them seven times.
