The Republican budget passed the House.
This week, the Republican budget passed the House.
But NOT with my vote.
Donald Trump and Congressional Republicans raided your healthcare and used that money as a piggy bank to reward their donors with massive tax breaks.
This Republican budget continues down a path of cutting care.
To add insult to injury, tucked inside their budget were personal payoffs of $1 million to eight GOP senators who were wrapped up in the investigation into January 6 — an attack where hundreds, if not thousands, of crimes were committed against our Capitol, our country, and our democracy.
I won’t give my vote to a Republican agenda built on cruelty and corruption. That’s exactly what this budget was, and that’s why I voted no.
I promise you this:
So long as there is air in my lungs, I will fight every single day for healthcare for all, against corruption in our government, and for a democracy that belongs to all of us.
