Hi John,

One of our frustrations in regards to election integrity, was that the Secretary of State Adrian Fontes and some of the county recorders wouldn't just follow the election law, as it was written and passed by the AZ Legislature.

But the personnel in these positions matter also. Some recorders do a great job (such as they can) with election integrity, and some don't. The former Maricopa Recorder Stephen Richer was absolutely awful, to the degree that he sued the Legislature several times rather than obey the law.

The new Maricopa Recorder, Justin Heap, is different. He's doing an AMAZING job and is a shining example of election integrity, even as the corrupt Maricopa Board of Supervisors stands in his way!

This is how we take back election integrity!

Fraud in the mail-in ballots has been a big issue, and it's easy. But Recorder Heap has developed a new process to verify signatures.

No more mail-in ballot mills. No more fraud, with voter ID AND signature verification!
One has to wonder why the Maricopa BOS WANTS more fraud? Why not have more transparency and faster, better verification?

This makes no sense to me.
Professional, nonpartisan, transparent and secure. The procedures put into place by Justin Heap are a model for all Arizona- and proof that even Maricopa can get its elections in order!
We have a long way to go on election integrity in Arizona- especially with new rules coming from the Trump Administration.

But in an environment where Maricopa has been so much of a problem for so long, Heap's reforms are welcome news!

We CAN make progress here. And we must. With the potential for fraud remaining, and hundreds of thousands of illegals potentially trying to vote, we need to make progress now!

I am fighting for proof of citizenship to be required to register or vote, as well as universal voter ID, one day voting and more. If Heap can reform Maricopa then we can do these things for Arizona. Help me make it happen!

God bless Arizona, and God bless America!
