It's Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes. We're about a year out from the 2026 elections, and Trump's defenders are already coming after me.

My Republican opponents say I'm "focused on prosecuting political opponents instead of protecting Arizonans." They claim my lawsuits against Trump are "partisan legal warfare."

Here's the truth: I'm doing exactly what I promised to do as Attorney General.

I'm standing up for all Arizonans — whether that's fighting the Trump administration's unconstitutional overreach, taking on corporate interests causing consumer harm, or prosecuting criminals trying to defraud Arizona families.

Here are just some of the things my office has accomplished:

* Saved Arizona $1.5 billion through lawsuits against Trump's illegal grant cancellations
* Protected SNAP benefits for 900,000 Arizonans during the government shutdown
* Opposed the Kroger-Albertsons merger that would have driven up grocery prices
* Fought utility rate hikes that would make electricity even less affordable
* Sued corporate landlords for colluding to jack up rents
* Prosecuted fraudsters who stole from Arizona families

This is what being Attorney General looks like. And Republicans hate it because I'm holding their president accountable.

I won by just 280 votes in 2022. My opponents have wealthy backers writing big checks. This will be one of the most expensive attorney general races in the country. But I have something they don't: grassroots supporters who believe Arizona deserves a fighter.
