This Giving Tuesday, $23 Makes a Difference
We're excited to announce our Giving Tuesday focus for 2025: Bibles and hymnals for Mozambicans. In many churches across Mozambique, United Methodists gather to worship without access to hymnals or Bibles for the congregation. Leaders in Mozambique named supplying these materials as a top priority for continued faith development and evangelism. A $23 donation provides one Bible and hymnal.
This effort is at the heart of our shared ministry: Encouraging United Methodists across the world in our shared faith. Every gift is a tangible reminder of this commitment and connection. [link removed] Learn more and donate →

Mozambique Conference Benefits Officer Visits Wespath
Wespath was excited to welcome Rev. Filimão Vilanculo this summer. Filimão, the conference benefits officer for The United Methodist Church in Mozambique, has been partnering with Wespath’s Central Conference Pensions (CCP) team for over a decade to administer retirement benefits for Mozambique’s retired clergy and their beneficiaries through the CCP program. While Wespath staff has traveled multiple times to this African country over the years (most recently in March), this was Filimão’s first trip to Wespath.
His weeklong visit included business meetings with the CCP team and other Wespath leaders and an all-employee Called to Serve program, where Filimão shared stories of the life-changing impact CCP pensions make on the lives of retired clergy in his country. He also enjoyed worship at the United Methodist Church Chicago Temple, Chicago baseball and more. Read about the CCP program [link removed] here.
New United Methodist Church Structure Ratified
