Dear Fellow Republicans,
In just 123 days, Illinois voters will head to the polls for the March 17, 2026 General Primary Election—a pivotal moment that will shape the future. Even more importantly, we are only 83 days away from the start of early voting at election authority offices and designated satellite locations on February 5, 2026. The clock is ticking, and now is the time for each of us to take meaningful action.

Our candidates are going full steam ahead to secure the Republican nomination, and they are counting on all of us to help build momentum. One of the most powerful ways you can support every Republican on the ballot is by serving as a Republican Election Judge in your community. This role is not just a civic duty—Election Judges are the frontline defenders of election integrity. Your service directly strengthens public confidence in the electoral process and ensures fairness at every polling place.
Serving as an Election Judge is one of the most impactful ways to protect transparency, accuracy, and Republican representation on Election Day. The process is straightforward and based on where you live:
-
Apply with your County Clerk or local election authority, either online or in person. Every county office is responsible for recruiting, training, and assigning Election Judges.
For example, if you live in suburban Cook County (outside Chicago): Apply through the Cook County Clerk’s Office, which administers suburban elections and provides all training and assignment details.
If you live in the City of Chicago: Apply through the Chicago Board of Elections, which manages all polling places, Election Judge assignments, and training within the city limits.
If you live elsewhere in Illinois: Submit your application directly to your County Clerk or Local Election Authority, who will guide you through the required steps, training, and Election Day assignment.
Contact your local Republican County or Township organization today — or reach out to the Illinois Republican Party. If you need further assistance, please contact [email protected]
Election Judges receive comprehensive training and written materials, and many counties offer a stipend for service. Most importantly, all Republican Election Judge positions must be filled by genuine Republicans. If we fail to fill our positions, Democrats are legally permitted to fill them with Democrat judges—and they will. We cannot afford to lose our representation at polling places across the state.
This is our moment to stand together, get engaged, and ensure Republican principles are represented at every level of the election process. Thank you for your dedication, your energy, and your commitment to strengthening our party and securing a brighter future for Illinois.

Do you think people who’ve moved to Tennessee, Florida, or California should still be shaping Illinois’ leaders and laws? Of course not. Yet it happens—unless we act.
A volunteer working group across the Collar Counties and Cook County is helping former Illinois residents remove their names from the voter rolls where they used to live.
Volunteers hand-address envelopes that notify movers that their registration may still be active here and encourage them to take action.
A similar effort in Pennsylvania reportedly achieved a 28% success rate. The blueprint exists—now it needs two things: stamps and handwriters.
How you can help
In DuPage, Cook, Lake, or Will: drop off unused or newly purchased stamps.
Outside those counties: you can still help—contribute stamps or volunteer to handwrite. Contact Project Director Willard Helander at [email protected] for the drop-off or mailing address and next steps.
This project can move the needle locally and statewide—and it can be replicated across all 102 Illinois counties. If you’re looking for a concrete, personal way to get involved, reach out to Willard and let her know you want to help clean up Illinois’ voter rolls.
