Look, friend: The Republican shutdown put a spotlight on just how little Trump and his party care about We the People.

Federal workers went unpaid and relied on local food pantries for six weeks. Working families are worried sick over health premiums doubling or worse next year. Until the shutdown ended, communities were still fighting in court for the president to release the benefits that prevent our most vulnerable neighbors from going hungry.

Yet every time Washington has abandoned us, we've seen Democratic governors step in as the first line of defense. That's why I'm running to bring the fight home to Colorado – and why I'm counting on grassroots supporters like you to help me hit my $30,000 mid-month goal by tomorrow evening's deadline.

I'm committed to making sure this state works for everybody who calls it home, regardless of your income, education level, or zip code. And I don't just plan on keeping Colorado a cornerstone of the firewall against Trump – I'm going to make it the best state to live, work and raise a family.

I’ve spent the last 15 years fighting to protect our state’s best interests from the GOP's out-of-touch policies in Washington.

In all my past campaigns, national Republicans have made me a top target for defeat, and this time will be no different. And mark my words: As we hit the 2026 campaign trail, they will come out of the woodwork to do anything, say anything and spend whatever it takes to stop me.

But I don't have billions in the bank like the president. Nor do I have the backing of special interest corporate PACs like the rest of his party. This campaign is powered by the very people I'm running to serve: people like you, friend.

That means I'll be powerless to overcome the muck they'll try to pin on me without your urgent grassroots support to stay in the lead.

Building the resources to win this race starts by reaching my $30,000 mid-month goal by tomorrow at midnight, so I'm racing the clock to close the 41% gap in time. Can I please count on you to pitch in $5, $25 or anything you're able to spare right away?

Michael
